Thrift Finds: Something new something old

Yesterday was the perfect Sunday, good food, movie, just hanging around the house, and few hours well spent in a fleamarket. Here's some of the thriftfinds, a couple of them from earlier visits to that same place:

A new wallet for me, cost 0,50 euros and has the most beautiful red inner draping! Love it.

New shoes! The Dr. Martens's are an earlier find, for 3 euros. The ladies old finnish vintage Aaltonen shoes are such a good find my friend made, and I was so lucky to have the right size feet for them. Thanks Anna! <3 They cost also 3 euros.

A black Levis jeans jacket for my husband, we've tried to find this for so long, so this really made his and my day! This came with us for 10 euros.

This is an earlier find also, made my heart pound when I found it. Vuokko Nurmesniemi's a-line coat, it was a little too big for me so I took it in a little bit. This cost originally 25 euros, but was on sale for -50% so I got it for 12,50e.

I've been trying to find this kind of smaller glasses for so long, so I'm so happy for these also! I found many good ones earlier but never many enough at the same time, so these came home with us this time. Actually everything in the background are thrift finds also! A couple of old Finnish trays (Grazy about them!), a Sagaform planter, and Aarikka's red- and whitestriped tinbox. Did I mention I love thrifitng?! :D

  1. Such lovelies. My coworker who definately is NOT a fea market type a person is getting an itch since she sees all the nice things we find there weekly. I like our tripa to the fleamarket <3

  3. Wow, Dr Martens for €3! That is indeed a great find. :) I'm also trying to find cheap Dr Martens because new ones are so expensive! So far no luck though... I'll keep searching :).

  4. Thanks! It really was a great find. :) Especially because they are made in England, and not in Thailand like some of the new ones are..But still, I'm thinking of selling those, since I prefer more narrow toe like in the 1460 model, and those have a little more round ones (there's somekinda metal reinforcement inside.)
